Rock n Roll at Old Rag🤘

OVERVIEW

Come hike Old Rag!! It’s a dope hike with awesome views and some rock scrambling to boot. It’ll be an awesome way to spend your Saturday.

General timeline:
7AM: Meet at Echols dorm and drive to trailhead
8:30AM: Begin Hike
~11 arrive at top and have lunch and enjoy views
~3 get back to car
4-5pm drop-off back at Echols

^Timing depends on our pace. It’s a 9 mile loop with around 3000′ elevation gain, so it will be tough but SO FUN.

What to bring:
Water, water, water!
Lunch + snacks
Good hiking clothes (it’ll likely warm up as we go)
Shoes with good traction for the rocks
Sunscreen if that’s your fancy

I reserved permits for the hike already, so don’t worry about that. You can just pay me back the $2 over venmo.

We will need a pass for Shenandoah, so first person with a national parks pass or a Shenandoah specific one will get priority off the waitlist.
