Rocking Climbing at the New River Gorge

OVERVIEW

The New is THE most fantastic place to climb around here – we’ll be going to a crag with 5.8s to 5.12s and amazing scenery. Sandstonia has some of the tallest single pitch climbs in the Gorge – and incredible views of the river and rafters below.

Come join in the fun! This is a perfect opportunity to work on your climbing technique or learn a little about lead climbing.

We’ll be camping overnight under the stars, waking up early, and spending an awesome day at the crag. Expect to get home late.

What to bring: climbing/camping gear, 2L water, breakfast and lunch packed, $$ for dinners on the road, lots of layers (it’ll be warm during the day but still pretty cool at night – bring a warm puffy jacket, gloves, hat), camera

Club provides: gear, gas reimbursement, loads of climbing experience and fun!
