Who wants to do a 13 miler day hike????? ME! Come join
What sounds better than spending next Saturday (1/29) putting one foot in front of the other for 13 miles??? … absolutely nothing.
Schedule:
7:30AM meet time at Echols
Get to the trail around 8:30/9ish
HIKKKKEEEEE
Get done hiking around 4 or so (depends how speedy we are) and drive back to Cville
Aiming to get back around 5:30 at the latest
What to bring:
The weather is going to be high 42 low 24 so… layers
Trusty hiking shoes
Water bottle(s) (there are streams we will be crossing, and I will have drops to treat water, but I would bring at LeAsT 2L)
Lunch + snacks (you will be HUNGRY)
A backpack to keep all your goods in
The trail is 13 miles with 2500ft of elevation gain, it is rated on All Trails as Difficult

As of now I have 1 vehicle, if more drivers apply I can increase the size of the trip (you will be reimbursed +50% tip—must come with a full tank of gas)!!!!
We will be in Shenandoah so if you have a Parks Pass you will get priority on the wait list, if no one has one then I’ll probably end up buying one so no worries about cost
