Shenandoah National Park
This will be an 18-mi hike. Rockytop loop itself is 12mi with 2000ft elevation gain, but we’ll start from the Grottoes trailhead in the valley (to avoid dealing with SNP passes), which will add another 6mi and another 2000ft of elevation gain, so should be a decent workout.
Bring water, snacks, flashlight. There will be 9 stream crossings, so crocs/sandals are recommended.
Club provides gas money/seat in car.
