Ronks? Rocks!! Let’s go climb some roncks! (but insideee): Intro to Bouldering

OVERVIEW

Have you ever seen someone scurry up a wall with plastic rocks and have been like OMG! I want to do that! Well… you are in luck because tomorrow Sarah and I will be teaching everyone on this trip how to start from square one!

This trip is meant for people who have little to no climbing experience, but there will be later trips for those who have climbed a bit.

We are super stoked to share the sport we love, and we want everyone’s first time doing it to be awesome (and dare I say addicting??). The environment will be chill yet informative. If you are climbing for the very first time, it can be a lot to get used to, so I’d say go at your own pace!

Plan:

We’ll meet tomorrow at 4 pm in the slaughter climbing gym (immediately to the right after entering the building). There’s free shoe rentals and chalk, so no worries about gear! You do have to be an active student to be able to use the facility, though. Then we shall get our climbing on!
