Our ropes had many sends in the desert, but now they are FULL of that sweet desert sand. We want our ropes to be squeaky clean for spring climbing, so come help us do a thorough rope clean at the Shrack on Friday! We will teach you how to properly clean ropes and check them for any damage so that they are ready for climbin once more. Clean ropes are safer and experience less wear – we want to keep them clean so they last a long time!
Please wear clothing that you don’t mind getting a little dirty or wet. We will bring rope cleaning and checking knowledge, you just bring yoself to the shrack. (IF YOU CLIMBED AT MOAB– consider joining this trip and giving back!!)
Schedule:
10:30 – meet at Shrack and start cleaning
12 – finish rope cleaning and part ways
