Rose River Falls Hike!

OVERVIEW

Hi friends!

Come with me to explore the Rose River Falls Trail in Shenandoah! I’ve been dying to explore more of the park, and I think this one will be great. It is a 3.8 mile loop trail with 800ish feet of elevation gain, and boasts three small but lovely waterfalls. Hopefully they will be flowing steadily after the rains these past few weeks! That being said, the rain might also make it a bit muddy (but mud = fun!). Here’s the plan:
9:00am — meet at the corner of Echols dorm
10:15am — arrive at the trailhead and begin hiking (snack stops along the way!)
12:15pm — back to the car and head back to Cville
1:30pm — disperse at the Echols dorm and get on with our lovely Saturdays

Things to bring:
hiking boots/shoes with good tread
warm clothes (layers to remove along the way)
water!!!
snackies or lunch for the falls

I have a park pass but we will need a driver so if you’re down to drive YOU WILL GET PRIORITY OFF THE WAITLIST!
