Rose River Loop (Shenandoah national park)

OVERVIEW

Come join me for an awesome hike in Shenandoah National Park! We’ll be hitting the Rose River Trail, one of the prettiest waterfall hikes in the park. The trail winds through lush forest, follows a scenic stream, and features several beautiful cascades — including the 67-foot Rose River Falls.
It’s about a 4-mile loop, and usually takes around 4–5 hours depending on our pace and how long we stop to enjoy the views.

The plan is:
Meet up at 9:15 AM, leave by 9:30
Start the hike around 10:30 AM
Finish by about 3:00 PM (maybe earlier!)
Back on groups by around 4:00 PM

drivers and the Shenandoah Park pass holders will be prioritized off the waitlist. As long as I don’t have a second person with a pass, I will only take 4 people with me! If there are 4 people willing to split the entrance fees, I’ll have them go too!

what to bring: lots of water, good hiking shoes, some snacks your lunch and good vibes — it’s going to be a fun day out!
I’ll bring a first aid kit, extra bottles of water my car!
I’m willing to pick you up and drop you off at your place if you live on campus or nearby!
