Rumbling Balls Bouldering

OVERVIEW

Rumbling Bald… the pride and joy of bouldering in Asheville, NORTH CAROLINA!! Fellas, I have heard that the dead of winter is the best time to go here; so that’s exactly what we’re gonna do.

Here’s a little itinerary:
Jan 9th: Leave UVA 7am
Arrive at Bouldering a little after 12:30pm
Climb until dark, mainly V0-V2
Camp and chill
Jan 10th: Boulder most of the day, with breaks for lunch and other stuff
Jan 11th: Hike Mt. Mitchell and (maybe??) see the sunrise, maybe visit Asheville for a rest day
Jan 12th: Boulder more in the morning, then drive home that afternoon back by 5pm
4 Days, 3 Nights

You should bring:
Sleeping bag+pad
Warm clothes!! (layered is awesome)
Climbing shoes
Chalk (if you have it)
Tent (if you have it, gear room may be hard)

I will bring:
Crashpads
My chalk, to share maybe
Tents (multiple if I can get them from the gear room, but at least one 2-person)
