Hey Gamers,
Last January, I went bouldering here with some lovely individuals. We had a grand time. I’d like to do it again, maybe with some of the same people, maybe with some new people, I don’t know who will sign up! What I can tell you is that this is the prime winter bouldering spot in the Southeast (that’s where we live, for better or for worse). https://www.mountainproject.com/area/113828500/rumbling-bald-bouldering Check that shit out, there’s anything from V-negative 2 to V69,000, you will not be displeased, as long as you just like climbing.
The plan:
We leave 12/8 in the afternoon and arrive in NC that night to set up camp
We climb and camp for 3 days (or more if we all want to stay longer!), eating awesome camping food
We leave NC 12/12 in the morning, maybe have a morning send sesh, but leaving by noon at the latest
You should bring:
Tent (or friend with a tent)
Sleeping bag & pad
Food/water bottle & money
Climbing shoes & chalk
I will bring:
Crashpads
Guidebook, hopefully
