Rustic Highlands Exploration and Picnining!

OVERVIEW

Feeling like a poopy indoor kid going into finals? Feeling the need for some bucolic frollicking? Well, you should probably come out with Ed and I to James Monroe’s Highland Rustic Trails! This is a small trail system just 20 minutes out of town, where we plan to spend about an hour and half exploring. When we decide it’s time for lunch, we’ll find a nice spot to sit down and have a little picnic. Please bring a picnic item to share with everyone else, kinda like a potluck! Examples: cheese. Salami. Deviled eggs. Grapes. Muffins. Crackers. Whatever! The hiking will be chill.

1:30 pm: Meet at corner of echols
1:55: Arrive at Rustic Highlands, Explore! Picnic!
3:15: return to cars
3:30ish: return to grounds

Layers (weather for wednesday is low of 30, high of 50 with no rain)
Water
A bag to hike with

We are looking for another driver! Let us know if you are able. The trail system is only 7 miles away, so sadly nobody gets reimbursed 🙁 but also, it’s so close!!
