Sacking, Stilting, and Sidequesting (the holy trinity comes to creekathon!!!)

OVERVIEW

Helloooo one and all.

We are gathered here today to explore, unearth, demystify, etc. There are far too many options with which to enjoy yourself at a creek. Nora and I thought – why not just mash them all together? Did you know the triangle is the strongest shape? THAT’S RIGHT!! THREE ACTIVITIES!!

SACKING –> We hack the sack till the sun secedes slowly, sinking to a swiftly submerged state (the sun is not setting– this is purely for ambiance and alliteration)
STILTING –> Stomp by the shore on substantially soaring, steepled, sky-high stilts (handmade by an old man named Danimal– THIS IS THE DANIMALS SWEEPSTAKES! CONGRATS YOU’RE A WINNER!)
SIDEQUESTING –> This is where the stumpfolk arrive. These are the totally made-up, quirky forest beings of Walnut Creek. And they deserve to be acknowledged. Perhaps honored with an offering? Homaged with a house? Deeply pondered and coexisted with in symbiosis.

Plan:
– Meet by the picnic shelter
– Sack. Stilt. Sidequest. From 1:30 to 2:30.

What to bring:
– arms and legs
– potential inquires about stumpfolk
