Saturday Day Trip to Snowshoe

OVERVIEW

Need to use your season pass more? Or just want to go skiing for a day? I’m planning to head to Snowshoe on Saturday morning, do a full day of skiing and about 1.5 hours of night skiing if we’re feeling up to it, then return to Charlottesville Saturday evening.

It looks like Saturday is going to be pretty cold (high teens – low 20’s), so be sure to bring:

-Lots of layers, both torso and legs
-Hat, helmet, or both
-Something to cover your face and neck, like a scarf or balaclava
-Warm gloves + glove liners if you have them
-Ski goggles or sunglasses
-Skis (or plan to rent) + boots and poles

We’re probably going to share food for lunch, but we can coordinate that later. My car doesn’t have 4 wheel drive, so I’m looking for someone that does have it before I let anyone off the waitlist.
