Saturday Daytrip to Snowshoe!

OVERVIEW

Can’t make George’s trip on Friday? Want to watch football on Sunday? Want to get some powder in anyway before classes start getting heinous? Boy, do I have the solution for you!

This is your standard Snowshoe daytrip: meet at Bonnycastle at 6am, head to the slopes, ski and ride all day, and return when we’re done. I figure we’ll leave around 4:30 when the main mountain closes, but anyone who wants to stay for night skiing is certainly welcome to do so.

If you have a season pass and your own gear, this is a free trip. If you need lift tickets or rentals, rates can be found at http://www.snowshoemtn.com/index.htm.

Drivers will get priority, since I do not have a car that can make it up the mountain safely. (4-wheel drive vehicles are good!)

NOTE: It is going to be absurdly cold (wind chills down to -15F) this weekend at Snowshoe. Bring lots and lots of layers and hand and toe warmers. And money for hot chocolate!

OTHER NOTE: If the weather is spotty, I reserve the right to cancel this trip due to road conditions.

You provide: lift tickets, gear, MANY LAYERS OF CLOTHING, money for food or your own food
Club provides: gas money and a seat in a car
