Saturday Horseback Riding at Master’s Inn

OVERVIEW

This is my first time horseriding here, but I understand we have a 2-hour trailride through open fields and silver streams in the countryside at Master’s Inn. Altavista, VA.

Come rain-or-shine! There is 30% chance of showers, but I’ve never had a good ride spoilt that way. We get 10 horses, and the cap is 10 people, so every one of us gets a horse. No prior experience necessary.

Outdoors at UVa provides:

Gas $, seat in a car if you don’t have one; Master’s Inn will provide riding helmets if you want one.

You must bring:

Long pants, shoes with slight heel or sneakers (no sandals/slippers), lunch/snack or water if you’d like.
