Saturday Old Rag Hike!

OVERVIEW

Come enjoy the cool fall weather and see the fall foliage from above this weekend at Old Rag.

For those of you who don’t know, it is a beloved and popular hike in Virginia: http://www.hikingupward.com/SNP/OldRag/

The hike is 9 miles and we go up and down the mountain. It’s a little over an hour drive each way and about 5 hours of hiking, so rounding up we’ll take no more than 8 hours. We’ll leave from Echols at 8am and return by 4pm.

I have no car so we need drivers to sign up to make this happen! Everyone will be waitlisted until drivers sign up.

IT WILL BE COLD!

Please bring:
-layers of warm clothing
-sturdy shoes
-water 2L+
-lunch/ snacks
– sunscreen, bugspray, ect.
– Shenandoah park pass
