Howdy y’all,
Luckily my schedule is in a lull at the moment so I figured why not go climbing twice this weekend. I’ve been to reeds creek once and it was pretty fun. I’m open to teaching people about lead climbing and belaying, or even the basics of top rope. Since this is an outdoor crag I don’t want to bring too many people sadly (It’s raining in Richmond on Friday and Sunday so man wall is a no) The grades at reeds creek are 5.7 and up, so pretty beginner friendly for an outdoor crag. I plan on climbing in the 5.7-9 range.

I would like to have one or two people who can lead climb/belay, and clean, but those who can only top rope are also welcome. I’ll manage the group to ensure we have enough experienced folks. (people who have been learning lead are welcome especially)
YOU BRING:
ya climbing stuff (helmet, harness, shoes, chalk)
food and snacks
at least 2 liters
appropriate clothing to be outside all day! (check the forecast, it will be cold)
^^^Layers
gloves/warm things to hold (tea)?
I’ll BRING:
ropes
draws
stick clip
I think that’s all, but text me if you need anything.
