Sendtember Is Here at the Nrg

OVERVIEW

Heading to the NRG. I just bought a Eurovan camper and would like to head out to Summersville before they drain it. Rats hole is hard but the rope swing is amazing. Probably climb some other moderates though at Summersville proper or wherever else seems good depending on weather.

You can expect a dance party at Rays if we roll there to camp. The van is on ready 5 topgun style.

Trying to keep my end of the trip down to whoever can fit in the van. There are a few other trips heading to the NRG as well but I have room in the van so….sign up and get a ride in the climb-lab.

CLIMBS:
Summersville most likely

MINIMUM TRIP REQUIREMENTS:
-Ability to tie in and lead belay
-Climb 5.9 cleanly on lead
-Ask me if you are unsure

DEPARTURE/ARRIVAL:
-9/2 (Fri) The drive is approximately 3 hours each way. We are climbing till dark…

OTHER:
Priorities are given to the following members:
-Drivers
-Able to lead climb and/or lead belay

Please do NOT sign up for this trip unless:
-You are at least 75% sure
-You are Ok with the departure and arrival times

CLUB PROVIDES:
-Gas reimbursement or ride in a car
-Climbing gear (ropes, draws)
-Personal climbing gear if needed (harness, shoes, belay device, chalk bag)
-*Check out personal camping/climbing gear on your own before the trip (ask me if you are unsure)

YOU PROVIDE:
-Personal climbing gear if you have it (Don’t forget chalk)
-Weather appropriate clothes
-$$ for meals or food/water for the trip
-Approach shoes/sandals
-Swimsuit and sunscreen
-Good climbing karma
