Ever wonder how it is we set up the topropes you dangle your lives on? We’ll be teaching the basic knots we use in setting up topropes, how to actually set everything up, and how to know what you just set up is good enough to hang your life on. If you plan on continuing your climbing career, want to lead climbing trips in the future (distant future!), or just want to know how things work so that you can double check other people’s set ups, then this trip is highly recommended! We’ll spend several hours on the workshop and in the end climb on our handiwork. After this workshop you can help set up topropes and after lots of practice on lots of trips you’ll be able to set them up by yourself and lead toproping trips.
If you just want to come to do climbing and already know how to belay, then that is ok too.
