116 Washington Avenue - A.K.A. Shred Shack
Sherando Lake
THE TRIP:
Sherando has some legit mountain biking that is able to be shuttled and is only 45 minutes away from grounds. It’s a high of 80 on Saturday so let’s celebrate with a shred session.
The ride with be about 14 miles, split into two different 7-mile downhills, with several advanced bits in each. However, since we will be shuttling, these miles are mostly downhill so it shouldn’t be too bad on the legs.
**THIS IS A SHUTTLE TRIP** I don’t want to pedal uphill and I’m assuming you don’t either. To make the shuttle happen we need AT LEAST TWO CARS. Please help make this trip happen and become a driver. (remember gas is reimbursed and you get a tip)
If you don’t have your own mountain bike or helmet, let me know on the trip questionnaire and I’ll try to get you a club bike/helmet. Everyone will be wait-listed for this trip initially and depending on bike availability individuals will be taken off the wait list accordingly.
