Every week on Wednesday, Endeavor Cycles holds a evening mountain bike group ride. Ronnie, who often leads the ride, had mentioned to me that we should see of we could get some ODC folks involved. So if you want to try out riding with a new group you wouldn’t otherwise meet on club trips, this is a great trip for you. Also, its a convenient opportunity to stop by the shop if you need anything checked out on your bike beforehand.
The shop ride does a good job of being inclusive, and this trip is intended for intermediate level riders. So, if you’re feeling confident on blue-level trails (such as the reactor loop on Ohill), this ride should be good for you. If you’re on the fence, feel free to reach out to me or Max.
If you don’t have your own mountain bike or helmet, let me know on the trip questionnaire and we’ll try to secure you a club bike/helmet. Everyone will be waitlisted for this trip initially and depending on bike availability individuals will be taken off the waitlist accordingly.
What you need:
– Water (Either a bottle that will fit in a bottle cage, or bring a small backpack/hip pack to hold it)
– Gloves (optional, $10 utility gloves work great)
– Closed-toe shoes
– Weather appropriate clothing
What the club will provide:
– Bikes
– Helmets
The plan:
5:10pm – meet at garage, get bikes
5:20pm – head over to Endeavor
5:30pm – shop ride
7pm – head back to shrack
