OVERVIEW

Hello my fellow shrederonies!

This is your shredvisor here to tell you that you are looking a bit unhealthy… But don’t fret, I have just the thing to fix you right up! It is made in house by our very own Dr. Shred, MD, non-GMO, organic, gluten free, and of course free range… with no trans fats, tested on animal, no artificial colorings or flavorings, but definitely none of that awful high-fructose corn syrup.

What is it you ask? It’s that tasty, tasty singletrack.

This saturday I will be going Montgomery Hall Park in Staunton VA where you can get all the tasty singletrack you need to cure you of all of those early semester ailments.

THE PLAN:
We’ll meet at the side entrance of the Echols dorm (closest to O’Hill) to load up the bikes and roll out at around 10am. Estimated arrival at the trailhead is around 10.45am.

The 4.1 mile Loop is a very very flowy trail with a lot of fun obstacles for all skill levels. There is a lot of great riding to be done at Montgomery Hall, and although it is only 4 miles a lot of sections are just as fun the second and third time around.

A description of the ride can be found here: http://www.mtbproject.com/trail/3962925

All skill levels welcome! I’d suggest at least a tiny bit of trail riding experience. In addition to riding, I will be doing some filming so if you want to join you should feel comfortable riding for part of the day on your own (other knowledgeable club members will most likely still be around to help).

Not 100% sure how long I’ll be out there but I am setting our leave time around 5pm, putting us in cville around 6.

If you don’t have your own mountain bike or helmet, let me know on the trip questionnaire and I’ll try to secure you a club bike/helmet.

Everyone will be waitlisted for this trip initially and depending on club bike availability and skill level, individuals will be taken off the waitlist accordingly. I have a truck which can fit 5 total but as more sign-up more spaces should become available.

What to Bring:
– Daypack
– Mountain Bike (if you have it)
– Helmet (if you have it)
– 2-4L of Water
– Lunch + Snacks

Club Provides:
– Bikes (if needed)
– Helmets (if needed)

Drivers get waitlist priority considerations first + gas is paid for by the club with a 50% tip.

If you have any questions don’t hesitate to text me at 954-980-4769, where I will promptly ignore your message for several hours/days/weeks/months/years or email me at gpt9ce.
