Simply Slaughtering (Beginner Bouldering)

OVERVIEW

Hoos ready to get better at climbing? Hoos psyched to commune with some beautiful plastic after break? Hoos stoked out of their friggin minds to kick it with Sarah and me? You is hoo.

Climbers of all abilities are welcome to come hang with us!! That said, we’re posting this wee excursion to offer some instruction, support, or just pure unbridled stoke to less experienced wall-clingers who could use it! I have been grounded for the time being by surgery, so I can dedicate all my time to helping out and posting up while Sarah monkeys around with you fools. Lighting of the Lawn will be happening at 7:00, so I figure we can finish up around 6, perhaps shake down the first years for OHill swipes, and have a group grub down if anyone’s interested.

Feel free to show up and head out whenever! Sarah and I will be there from 4-6 but y’all aren’t obligated to be by any means.

What you bring:
– Stoke
– Student ID
– Shoes/Chalk (optional)

*Climbing shoes and chalk are provided free of charge for all UVA students*
If you’ve never been to climb at Slaughter before, please go through the online orientation ahead of time so we can get straight to it when you show up!
