Me and my very platonic climbing partner are looking for some folks to join us on a grand voyage to kentucky for an absurdly long time. The plan is to leave friday morning on the 12th and possibly climb that afternoon. Then we will climb with rest days here and there for the next week and a half. We’ll be working on 5.11as and up mainly so be willing to try hard as hell 👍! We’ll be staying at miguel’s which is $3.50 a night for 12 nights which comes out to $42. Gas cost is roughly if we assume driving roughly 1000 miles (400 there, 400 back, and 200 during), 30 mpg, and $3.50 per gallon. That comes out to $116 which is below the club max for reimbursement, so ideally we won’t have to pay for gas out of pocket. Worse case scenario I estimate gas could cost $150 in which case we’ll split the remainder that the club doesn’t cover ($25) For food, we’ll mainly be getting groceries nearby and eating a lotta non perishable food. We plan to head home on the 24th at the latest or 22nd at the earliest.
