Skiing/Boarding at Snowshoe

OVERVIEW

We’ll leave Friday night at everyone’s earliest conveniece, ride all day Saturday, and stay again Saturday night. I’m going to leave early Sunday morning to get back for the Super Bowl, but some people may stay and ski Sunday as well.

Snowshoe is supposed to have the entire mountain open by this weekend, including possibly cross country skiing and snowshoing.

In order to sign up, I need to collect $25 from everyone by next Monday (1/29) so I can book a cabin. Please bring checks to my office Thornton B220, first door on the left, or alternatively you may bring (or mail) checks to 1962 Thomson Rd. 22903. Checks should be made payable to Landon Kanner. If enough people sign up, you’ll get some of this money back.

Club will provide gas, breakfast and dinner on Saturday, and partial lodging fees.

You provide warm clothes, ski equipment (either bring your own or rent up there), lunch Saturday, breakfast Sunday, lift ticket, $25 lodging fee.
