Skiing/Snowboarding at Snowshoe, Round 2

OVERVIEW

We’ll leave at everyone’s earliest convenience Friday night after finals and drive to Snowshoe, WV — home of the best skiing/boarding this side of the Mason-Dixon. Hopefully (depending on what time we get out of town) we’ll pick up rentals and lift tickets Friday night before retiring to our cabin (probably in Cass) for frosty beverages and toga wrestling. We’ll ski/ride all day Sat. and stay the night again. Sunday skiing is optional, but at least one car will leave early if people need to be back. Its about a 3 hour drive. If you don’t want to go back to C’ville after the trip, that’s fine, but the club will not reimburse any of your gas money.

There will be a lodging fee of approximately $20/person (holy crap that’s cheap!) depending on the number of people that attend.

You will be responsible for purchasing your own lift tickets, rentals (if necessary), and certain (but not all) meals.

If 20 or more people come not only will the lodging fee go away, but we’ll also qualify for a group discount on lift tickets, so talk it up to your friends (even if they’re not in the club already, its worth buying a 6-month membership just for this trip).
