Skydiving at Orange!!

OVERVIEW

Have you ever wanted to fly as a child? Are you just tired of the same rollercoaster ride? Do you feel like you need something a bit more exciting so that you brag for the rest of your life? Well I have one remedy to all your problems: Skydiving. That’s right, we are going to jump off the plane at 13,500′ and freefall for 50 seconds.
We are doing a TANDEM skydive course. The ‘ground class’ should only be 45 minutes and the trip will take a total of 5-10 hours, but I would leave the saturday free.

Fear of height?
“If you have a fear of heights, it does not apply in the same way for skydiving. You are so high, it does not look high in the same perspective as looking down from a ladder or out a high window.”

While you are reading the rest of the trip description and logistics, you should aleady be reaching for your checkbook and a pen.

As I have said, I got us a special deal with them. I negotiated for an extra discount on top of the group discount to take $40 off of $255 to make it $215 ($225 Visa/Master/Amex). That’s still a quite bit of green, but if you are always going to remember jumping off the plane and I have it on good authority that the people who did it last October don’t regret a single penny. If you are like me and have dreamed of jumping out of a plane since you popped out of the womb, it might as well be now when you have the deal! So are you finished with writing the check for $50 deposit yet?

REQUIREMENTS:
-$50 non refundable deposit per person (can be rescheduled to another day)
-Each person must be at least 18 years old, able to read, write understand English, be in reasonably good physical and mental condition, and be under 220#.
-Bring a picture ID with DOB like a driver’s, and arrive on time.

You can leave money for me in my mailbox (1914 Stadium Road) or call me at 540-905-9340 and we can set up a place to meet. I’ll also be setting up a time on the day the money is due to collect probably in Alderman Library so look for an e-mail about that!

You must understand that the deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE but I will try my best to replace you with someone in case you have to withdraw. If I can’t pull anyone off the waitlist, you must find a replacement yourself.
**You get off the waitlist when I receive your check/money**

BAD WEATHER
In the event that it gets cancelled, it will be rescheduled but we don’t all have to go on a same day (but same discounted price) if the schedule doesn’t work out. More detail will follow if it does get cancelled, that’s all you need to know for now.
