Smokehole climby

OVERVIEW

Who wants to CLIMB? okay, I’m trying to do a trip again, hopefully the weather likes us this weekend. This is a beginner climbing trip! This will be primarily top roping on some moderate grades 5.6-5.8. I do need someone who has a car and/or who can lead climb and lead belay! Climbed outside once or twice before? Want to use the stuff you learned in the climbing workshop this week? Let’s go to Smokehole Canyon. We will leave Echols at 7:30am climb for most of the day and head out around 2:30. I have work at 5:30 so we have to get back to Cville around 5.

You Bring:

– climbing shoes
– harness
– helmet
– Some snacks and water
Head to a gear room to pick up these things!

I bring:

– ropes
– draws
– quads
– belay devices
