OVERVIEW

Who wants to head up to Snowshoe this Sunday? It’s been cold there for a few days and it’s been snowing a little each day so the snow should be pretty decent. Hopefully the threat of snowy roads and cold weather will keep the crowds down! Then the mountain will ALL BE OURS (booming evil laugh)

Lift tickets are regular season now so $79 for a day pass, unless of course if you have a season pass or a discount of some sort. If you need rentals they’re about $30.

Weather will be pretty chilly – I see a high of 17degF, with the low the night before being 4degF, 10-15mph of wind, partly sunny, and 30% chance of some snow. So, dress in appropriate layers and it’s never a bad idea to bring along an extra set of layers you can leave in the car.

I’ll start this trip at 5 people and expand if necessary as I get more drivers. The light snow over the past few days is going to make me favor good drivers with good cars.

I will likely be spending most of the day in the Western Territory, depending on the lift lines. We can break into groups as necessary. My tentative lunch plan is to meet at Shaver’s Center sometime in the early afternoon, or whenever everyone wants to meet.

You Provide:
Appropriate clothing for the weather – Layer up!
Gear or money to rent some
Your baller season pass or money for a lift ticket
A lunch – unless you want to buy one
$$ for dinner – we might stop somewhere on the way back, depending on what everyone wants to do.

Club Provides:
Ga$ money + 30% for drivers
Communal transportation for the needy
