Snowshoe Feb 20-22: Civil War Style

Let’s go to Snowshoe! We’ll be leaving around 6pm Friday, Feb 20, skiing all day Saturday and Sunday, and returning to Charlottesville Sunday evening. Costs should be about $15 per person (covering lodging) if you have your own pass and gear. Refer to www.snowshoemtn.com for lift pass prices and rentals if you don’t have your own stuff.

At this late date, the only reasonably priced cabin I could find was a renovated Civil War cabin in Green Bank. It says it sleeps 6, so I am willing to pack 10 people in. I’ve rented this cabin before, so I know that’s gonna be pushing it. Only sign up for this trip if you don’t mind getting cozy!
