Snowshoe Opening Day 2009

Can’t make it on the Sunday day trip like me? Hardcore, and want to go Saturday AND Sunday? Simply can’t wait the extra day?

Whatever your reason, let’s head to Snowshoe this Saturday for a day trip! It’s opening day for Snowshoe, so it is unclear exactly how many trails will be open. But snow is in the forecast this week, up to 8 inches by Friday.

We will be leaving at 6 am sharp on Saturday, December 5. We should arrive at the mountain by 9 am, be able to ski all day, and head back to cville when the lifts close at 4 pm.

The trip fee will be a grand total of $0 if you have your own gear and snowshoe season pass. If not, you are responsible for providing yourself with rentals ($30) and a lift ticket ($55). Also, even though gas is paid for, bring some cash for meals.

I will waitlist everyone until drivers sign up. Let’s start the season.
