Snowshoe Weekend Trip

OVERVIEW

Hey guys!

Just checked snowshoe mountain status, everything looks nice this weekend. I just build up enough skill to go down black diamond without fall last weekend, can’t wait to go back to the mountains. I would personally like to leave Friday afternoon around 3:30 PM, do some night ski at Silver Creek area, then Saturday and Sunday for the whole day.But If we have enough cars then you can figure out when you like to leave.

Lodging:

If we have less then 5 people, I will tend to get a room at Bear Creek Lodge, it will cost around 90 dollars. If we have more than 5, I would book a house at Cass Inn. The cost is around 170 dollars including tax.
The club will pay $5 per person a day for the lodging.

Food:

The club will pay 6 dollars per person a day for food, it depends on how many people will sign up, then I would have an idea what can we get and how much we gonna pay.

Transportation:
My car can hold 4 pairs of skis and 2 snow boards. It has three seats left. Club will pay gas up to $100. Every car needs to take at least three persons to get gas money.

You will need to buy lift tickets, rent gear if you don’t have. also bring:
-snacks
-money to give me for lodging–depends on # of people, I will let you know
-sleeping bag and pillow in case there are too many ppl for beds
-proper clothing from sleeping, chilling and mtn gear– pants, wool socks, thermals, hat, gloves, helmet, goggles, waterproof jacket, etc.
