Ski? Snowboard? Let’s get away to Snowshoe mountain for the weekend!
We’ll leave Friday evening around 7 pm, arriving at Snowshoe late Friday night. We’ll ski/board all day Saturday and Sunday at Snowshoe and Silver Creek (night ski area). We’ll leave Monday morning and be back in Cville by 2 pm.
Space is limited by the number of drivers who sign up. I’ll waitlist everyone and accept drivers first. 7 beds are available in an awesome condo at Powder Monkey, literally steps away from the lift in a great location, and walking distance to The Village and a raw bar. If those fill, people can sleep on the floor.
Depending on flexibility of drivers we might be able to arrange an earlier departure time to allow some people to ski Friday, or a later departure Monday so that some people who don’t have class can stay longer on Monday. We can also hopefully arrange a car to leave Sunday for those who have class Monday.
You’re responsible for your own food, lodging costs (which will be determined by the number of participants), and any gear/lift tickets you might need to rent or purchase. Club provides gas, a ride to/from the mountain, and cool people to ride with.
