There’s snow in the forecast for the weekend, and your midweek season pass to Wintergreen is good after 12:30 on Sunday. This trip is open to all levels of snowriders, with or without season passes. Just be warned, if you don’t have a pass, you have to pay for a Twilight Sunday lift ticket ($54). Rentals are available ($23-$42). I plan to stay until it gets dark (and cold!), which will be about 4:30 or 5.
The trip size is currently set to the number of people I can drive w/ equipment, but if other drivers sign up, I will enlarge the trip. Wintergreen is open until 10pm, so some people may want to stay longer. I will keep everyone who is signed up and waitlisted informed as to the planned depature times of other drivers.
Be sure to dress warmly. Wintergreen is 10-20 degrees colder than UVa, and it will get even colder as the sun goes down. BTW – Wintergreen offers free beginner lessons with a rental.
