Soggy Sugar Hollow Hike

OVERVIEW

Another fun tidbit: Sugar Hollow reservoir feeds into the Ragged Mtn Reservoir which is where UVA gets its water from!

Sugar Hollow is about 40 mins away from UVA and you can walk right into Shenandoah np from the reservoir’s parking lot. We will be hiking for a few miles (3-6) probably to a waterfall (a heads up that I am recovering from an injury and testing out walking longer distances so no promises that we will go all the way but it is still a lovely place!). There is little elevation change on this hike but there are several stream crossings so be prepared for that.

We will be heading out from Echols brickwall at 10:15 and returning some time early afternoon.

Drivers needed! Please show up with a full tank of gas. You will be reimbursed for gas and receive a 20% tip and have priority off the waitlist.

-snacks
