South River Falls Fire Road Loop

OVERVIEW

South River Falls Fire Road Loop is a 4.6 mile moderate loop with 1272 feet of elevation gain in Shenandoah National Park. I just want to take my time and enjoy the Park before we begin fall.

Itinerary:
– 7:30 AM: Meet & leave from Echols.
– 8:45 AM: Arrive at trailhead and begin hike.
– 11:45 AM: Complete loop and return to vehicle.
– 1:00 PM: Return to grounds.

What to Bring:
– Water (2+ Liters).
– Comfortable hiking shoes/boots.
– Weather-appropriate attire (rain is possible).
– Snacks.

*DRIVERS WILL GET PRIORITY OFF THE WAITLIST!!* Anyone willing to drive will receive priority off the waitlist along with full gas reimbursement and a 50% tip.
