Splendid Sunday Swimming @ blue hole!! (9/3)

OVERVIEW

**this has totally never been done before**

It is going to be actually HOT and SUNNY on Sunday, so what better to do than avoid the sunday scaries and go swimming instead? I’ve never been to Blue hole, but it seems like a very nice swimming hole not too far away from here. The hike to the swimming hole is about 1.5 miles, and shouldn’t be too strenuous. The timeline – this is a rough estimate and we can stay for more or less time depending on peoples’ preferences
10:00 am – meet at echols
10:45 am – arrive at the trailhead parking lot and start hiking
11:45 am – swim, jump of some rocks, chill, hang out
12:45 pm – hike back to the car
2:30 pm – arrive back in cville

To bring
– water
– sunscreen/sun protection
– snacks if you’d like
– shoes that can get wet (there will be stream crossings!!)
– a bathing suit & towel if you’d like

DRIVERS NEEDED & will be prioritized off the waitlist- since this trip is 15 miles away you will get reimbursed for gas + a 50% tip!
Also, for this trip I will be prioritizing new members to the club! So, anyone who has just recently joined OR has been on less than 2 trips will also be prioritized off the waitlist.
