~Spooky~ Night Hike & Stargazing up on Ohill

OVERVIEW

Halloween may have passed by the time of this trip, but spooky time never stops. Bundle up, take a break from that silly Sunday evening calculus homework, collect your favorite spooky stories and join Jade & I on a night hike up to the wondrous world of ~Ohill trails~. This trip will be extra spooky, as both me and Jade are novice in our ability to navigate the most confusing Ohill trails, so this trip will really keep you on your toes.

The plan is as follows: meet at the corner of Echols dorms at 7pm this Sunday (November 1), fuel up on some leftover discount Halloween candy if I can find it, and make our way up to Ohill to roam around the trails hoping we don’t run into any bears (spooky! :0). We’ll plan to be back down around 8 ish, but the potential for stargazing and telling some spooky stories at the observatory might push that back to like 9 depending on what the group is feeling/ how chilly the night is/ how much calculus we all have looming over us!

What to bring/wear:
– Warm clothes & hiking shoes
– A light source: Headlamp? Flashlight? Phone? Candle?
– A mask to keep that nose of yours warm (and to prevent the spread of a highly infectious disease!)
– Your most favorite spooky stories
– Superb navigation skills (hopefully together we can find our way back)
