Shrack
116 Washington Avenue, Charlottesville, VA, USA
Have you ever looked at a spoon and thought, “Man, I wish I could make one of these”? Are you ever eating with your spoon and wish that everything tasted just a little bit like charcoal? Then boy do I have the trip for you!! Come to the shrack to make your very own wooden spoon and become the coolest, crunchiest, most sustainable, handiest, granola-eating, bedrock-wearing person in your friend group.
We will create the spoons by burning out the bowl with coals from the fire, then using knives to carve the handle and head. By the end of this trip, you will have your very own handcrafted, splinterful, smoke-flavored, asymmetrical wooden spoon!!!
No experience necessary! Anyone is welcome to join the trip so long as you have a passion for spoonmaking
