OVERVIEW

This is NOT an actual SPRGE adventure. This is the CARPOOL for SPRGE. This is how the SPRGE leaders will keep track of drivers and attendees.

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS TRIP UNTIL YOU HAVE BEEN ADDED TO A SATURDAY SPRGE TRIP AND PAID THE TRIP FEE. MORE INFO BELOW.
SPRGE TRIP LOGISTICS– READ CAREFULLY:

HOW DO I GO TO SPRGE?
♣ You may ONLY sign up for this adventure once you’ve JOINED (been let off the waitlist) (or are leading) a SATURDAY SPRGE trip posted on the website (more on leading below). Being on the waitlist, or “intending” to go on the trip, does NOT count. If you are not on/leading a Saturday SPRGE trip, you will NOT be added to this adventure.
♣ You MUST pay the $13 trip fee BEFORE joining this adventure. Again, do NOT join if you are not let onto or leading a Saturday SPRGE trip. Pay through the paypal below. We will NOT add you if you haven’t paid or communicated with us about payment. You may also pay by cash/check if absolutely necessary. *If this fee presents a financial barrier to you, please email us.*
PAYPAL https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=TMFYZWLD6ALRQ
♣ By signing up for this carpool, YOU ARE COMMITTING TO ATTENDING SPRGE. We understand that things come up, but it is not acceptable to drop last minute and take the spot of someone who really wanted to go. If you absolutely must drop (especially if you are a driver), you MUST contact us ASAP.
♣ Once you sign up, you will be asked a few questions about your medical stuff, car, camping/gear needs, adventure plans, and dietary restrictions (dinner is provided Saturday night). Please answer ALL of the questions.

LEADING A TRIP at SPRGE:
♣ If you want to lead a SATURDAY (see below for Friday or Sunday trips) trip, please submit the trip on the website for approval!
♣ In addition to the normal stuff, you MUST have these components on your Saturday trip description:
➤A reminder to pay $13 via PAYPAL and then sign up for the main trip carpool once let onto this adventure
➤ A disclaimer about waitlist skill level considerations (if applicable).
➤A reminder that drivers will be prioritized and get a tip of up to $20 with gas reimbursed
➤Question: Can you drive? How many people can you fit (including yourself)? Does your vehicle have a tow hitch, roof rack, or crossbars?
➤ A question about skill levels if necessary for your trip
♣ We will approve submitted SPRGE trips by midnight on March 32nd and post to the website. Once we approve your trip idea, you must pay the trip fee AND THEN put yourself on the waitlist for this main trip! DO NOT REMOVE ATTENDEES FROM YOUR WAITLIST! Only SPRGE officers will do this. This is to prevent individuals from being on more than one Saturday trip at a time. We will let the first round of people off the waitlist for your trip by Tuesday April 1 and continue to do so on a rolling basis until Thursday, 4/10!

♣If you want to lead SPRGE a trip on FRIDAY OR SUNDAY, you MUST be off the waitlist for this adventure! You may start posting those trips on 4/4 once all SPRGE Saturday trips are posted/filling. ONLY people added to this carpool can lead/OR JOIN a Friday or Sunday trip. DO NOT let members off your Friday/Sunday waitlist if they are not added to THIS MAIN CARPOOL!

♣ In addition to the normal stuff, you MUST have these components on your Fri/Sun trip description:
➤ A disclaimer that this trip is for Friday/Sunday at SPRGE and ONLY open to those added to the SPRGE main carpool adventure

A General Packing List (Stay tuned for a more complete list once you’re added):
SPRGE WILL PROVIDE:
♣ Tents! We will have a tent section of the google sheet where you will fill out your tent situation. You ARE responsible for bringing your own sleep setup (sleeping bags, pads can be checked out from gear room) other than a tent unless you intend to bring your own tent
♣ Pots and Pans and Stoves to Cook at Camp! – Do not check out from gear room
♣ The Rays Campground heated bathroom with toilet, sink, mirror (shinnneyyyyy)

YOU MUST BRING:
♣ FOOD (you will be responsible for your own food. That’s 2 dinners, 2 breakfasts, and 2-3 lunches depending on how long you stay. You also need utensils/cookware for whatever you decide to bring, so plan ahead. You might also want to bring $$ for food if you and people in your car want to stop in town for some grub. Recommendations: Biscuit World for brekkie (the one with the museum inside) and Pies & Pints.
♣ If you have your own camping gear, PLEASE bring it. Pro tip: write your name on it to help keep track of it.
♣ Whatever you need for your respective adventures; the Trip Leader will specify what gear they are bringing and what you are responsible for getting from the gear room
♣ Water bottles. There will be spots to fill up at the campsite.
♣ Warm clothes & layers (it gets chilly. chillier than you may be expecting). Think quick-dry, non-cotton stuff. And fleece! Hats! You may also want rain gear/water- resistant shoes. It somehow is always wet and muddy…
♣ Headlamp/Flashlight – Headlamps are preferable and available from the gear room!
♣ Enos? Portable camp chairs – Crazy Creeks? There are usually picnic table benches, but these are good for hanging around the fire.
♣ Instruments? If ya have em and are ok bringing them camping, bring em. There’s nothing like a jam sesh around the fire.
BRING YOUR BANJOSSSSSS

RIDES AND TENTMATES
♣ The departure time set for this (4:20pm) is NOT necessarily when you will leave. You may leave earlier/later on FRIDAY/SUNDAY depending on what trip(s) you sign up for. We will be overseeing all ride plans to make sure everyone who needs a lift gets one. Look out for a signup sheet in the SPRGE Groupme once added.
♣We will try to get people arranged in tents BEFORE we get to Rays to minimize confusion and maximize efficiency. You can do this on the carpool sheet’s “Tents” tab. The SPRGE Groupme will also be a great place to do this and you can always reach out to the SPRGE leaders with any concerns or if you need help finding tentmates.

Hit us with your questions/concerns. We are HYPEPEPEEOEPEEPEEEE.

$PRGE is for the ratz, and the banjo, who is to tell, the meaning of the music, the bite of the rat
