SPRGE- more like splurge with a fun hike to Glade Creek Trail (SPRGE Saturday trip)!!

OVERVIEW

Hey ya’ll,

Wasn’t able to go to NRGE last semester so I thought it would be fun to lead a trip this semester!
This trip is a 9.1 mile hike(according to Alltrails) but an 11 mile hike according to other sources… but either way it is an intermediate day hike with moderate difficulty.
It is an out and back trail with around 800 ft of elevation gain and takes around 3-4 hours to complete.

Itinerary:
10:30- Leave campsite
11:30- Arrive at trail head
11:30-1:00/1:30- Hike to falls
1:30-whenever we feel like leaving prolly like 2:30-swim, eat lunch, chill, read whatever at the falls
2:30-4:00- Hike back
4:00-5:00- Drive back to camp

This timeline is probably very over exaggerated I feel like we will most likely be back by 4 not 5

I can’t drive so we do need someone who is carpooling to camp and can also drive to hike!

REMINDERS FOR JOINING SPRGE
Once you are taken off the waitlist for this trip you MUST:
1. Pay the SPRGE fee – Venmo $25 to @parkersims
2. THEN sign up for the MAIN SPRGE CARPOOL
If you can no longer attend, please drop this trip AND the main carpool as soon as you know. This makes planning a lot easier.
