SPRGE Saturday:O – Chill Day Hike to Long Point

OVERVIEW

Hey all you outdoorsy people!

I’m SO excited for SPRGE and wanted to lead a Saturday trip. I heard the Long Point view is stunning(!!) so we’re gonna embark on a chill day hike to Long Point via the Fayetteville trail *wohoooooo* The hike is 6.3miles but should be accessible to any level. We will set a good pace as a group.

Rough timeline:
10am meet and leave from campground
10:15 start walking
~12ish lunch
1:45 back to campsite (plenty of time left in the day to nap, play cards, read a book, relax, etc.)
NOTE – the start time of the trip is 10:00 AM!! The website is glitching and may be showing a different start time than in the timeline.

Bring:
– lunch/snacks
– water
– layers

Alsoooo as a reminder!! This is a “SPRGE TRIP” soooo…
– pay the $25 through venmo (@parkersims) + sign up for main carpool once you get off the waitlist of this trip
– mega-trip first timers will be prioritized off waitlist!
– drivers also prioritized off waitlist (with gas reimbursements and tip up to $20)
– If you can no longer attend, please drop this trip AND the main carpool as soon as you know. This makes planning a lot easier.
