We’ll be hiking a section of the Swamp Fox/Palmetto Trail, connecting to the Awendaw Passage, which finishes up at the scenic Intercoastal waterway!

Day one: drive to Charleston, camp at Trail Head
Day two: Set up car shuttle and HIKE hike hike
Day three: hike 10 miles
Day four: hike 5 miles, hike another 5 miles
Day five: hike 8 miles
Day six: hike 2 miles, pack out, maybe explore Charleston a little?
Day 7: Drive Home, home on the range
What you bring:
Backpack (club can provide)
Sleeping bag and pad (club can provide)
Headlamp (club can provide)
Appropriate clothes (could drop to 30s-40s at night)
Raingear
Bowl and Utensils
Capacity to carry at least 3 liters of water
Snacks
Reading material
Anything else important that I’ve forgotten
