Stairway to Heaven

OVERVIEW

Climb to HEAVEN with me on this 9 mile out-and-back hike with 3400 ft of elevation gain. We’ll PRAY we make it up to see the ANGELIC views. As long as you have FAITH, the SACRIFICE will be worth it.

Just kidding guys. This hike is basically straight up and down the mountain and is rated as “hard” on all trails (here’s the link if ur interested: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/virginia/appalachian-trail-tye-river-to-priest-shelter), so I’d prefer if you had some moderate hiking experience (but don’t worry bc I’ll be huffin and puffin too).

PLAN:
9 AM: leave Echols
10 AM: arrive at parking area and start hikin
4 PM (ish): finish hike
5 PM: arrive back at Echols in time for evening plans ✌️

TO BRING:
-water (2L minimum) + lunch/snacky snacks
-sturdy hiking shoes/boots
-appropriate clothing (check the weather)
-your full DEVOTION to The Priest (sorry I had to)

**DRIVER NEEDED**
You already know the drill. Drivers get priority off the waitlist, gas reimbursed, plus a 50% tip 🤑
