Nothing’s better than moving your body after sitting in a car for a few hours, so come join me and start SPRGE off strong with a nice sunset hike/frolic/stroll/saunter🤸♀️🤸♀️🤸♀️This is a short 2.4 mile trail that’s about a 10 min drive from the campground, and we will be back in time for nighttime festivities🕺🏻💃🕺🏻💃
A DRIVER IS NEEDED- The plan is to leave Charlottesville at 2:30 (make sure that works w/ your Friday schedule), potentially get some dinner around 6:00 in Fayetteville (Only 5 minutes away from hike), get to the trailhead by 6:45, watch the sunset at 7:38 at viewpoint, and then head to the campsite after.
NOTE -The weather is looking a little iffy on Friday night, so I’m planning to play it by ear. Make sure to have a raincoat with you (if you’re into that kind of thing, feel free to embrace the shower if not)
ALSO- Bring money if you want to get dinner in Fayetteville (Since dinner is not provided for Friday night) but also feel free to pack your own meal and eat with us. We will either eat before or after the hike, but probably before. I’m thinking of Subway, Secret Sandwich Society, Pies and Pints Pizza- whatever our stomachs desire.
