Stony Man Sunday Scaries

OVERVIEW

Do Sundays fill you with existential dread? Ward off the Scaries & send it up Stony Man this weekend. This will be a relatively short (~3.7mi), fairly easy hike. Drivers needed!

The plan is:
Leave Echols @ 2, drive ~1hr 20min to Stony Man parking lot
Hike ~1mi to Stony Man summit, take in some Views
Backtrack a bit, then hike ~1.3mi, partially along the AT, to the Little Stony Man overlook & cliffs – hopefully catching sunset
Hike ~1.5mi back to parking lot, back to UVA by ~7

Bring:
A SNP if you have one
2L water
Layers
Headlamp
A snack
$5 (if no one has a SNP)
A good riddle

DRIVERS NEEDED!
-drivers & SNP holders will get priority off the waitlist. The club reimburses for gas +50% tip!
-drivers need to show up to Echols with a full tank of gas!
