Hello Everyone,
It’s time to kick off the year with what is supposed to be one of the best sunrise spots in the whole Shenandoah park. For some reason I have been livin’ the outdoors club life here for two years and haven’t hiked it yet so it’ll be a new experience for us all. It is a super easy hike that is roughly 1.6 miles round trip so it is fit for beginners.
What to bring:
– Sturdy hiking shoes
– Plenty of water
– Snacks if you want them
– Layers if you get cold, but if you put them on I’ll probably judge you
– A headlamp
The Deets:
– 6:00 Meet at Student Activities Building Parking Lot
– 6:15 Depart from Student Activities Building Parking Lot
– 6:45 Arrive at Trailhead
– 7:30 Watch the Sunset
– 9:30 Leave from Trailhead
– 11:00 Arrive back in Charlottesville
