Stroll Through a Charlottesville Park

OVERVIEW

The weather’s going to be beautiful this weekend and I want to be outside. Ivy Creek Natural Area is one of Charlottesville’s often forgotten gems. It’s a low-key trail that runs through a beautiful forest and passes over creeks.

For those of you who can’t make it to the New River Gorge trips or the mountain biking trip, come explore a little piece of Cville with me!

We can be gone as long as we want, I’m thinking around 2 hours of exploration would be sufficient, but if people want to hang around longer and bring snacks/frisbee/slacklines, that would be wonderful too. Let’s enjoy the outdoors together!

Since it’s still early in the semester and many new people are signing up for the club, I’m going to give preference to first years and new club members.

Sturdy Shoes
Layers
Snacks
Frisbee or any other fun game to play in the outdoors
