Sugar Hollow/Blue Hole Hike- Sat. July 27th

OVERVIEW

Let’s hike Sugar Hollow/Blue Hole on Saturday, July 27th. It is 2-3 miles each way and considered easy to moderate in rating. It is about 25 minutes west of Charlottesville by coming out Barracks Road and Rt 614 through White Hall. The South Fork has Blue Hole, a unique swimming spot, which we can also check out.

This hike is open to those experienced or inexperienced or even those who recently joined the club.

Carpooling: If you are interested in carpooling or being a driver for carpooling, please let me know. Carpool will leave at 9AM at the Ben & Jerry’s at Barracks Road. The club will reimburse for gas pending at least three members are on the trip and at least one is a student.

What to Bring: Please be sure to bring water, comfortable sturdy shoes, sunscreen, a swim suit if you want to go swimming and a snack!

Please keep in mind that you are responsible for you own safety and the activities you choose to participate in while on the hike.
