Echols Dorm: Brick Wall By Side Door
Sugar Hollow
Bretheren and Sisteren,
This Sunday is supposed to be 60 degrees. Go, stand out side until your fingers get numb (should take about a minute), and then reread that. We must take advantage of this breath of warm air before diving back down into the cold dark winter, and Sugar Hollow is just the place for that.
About 30 minutes from the Ville, there is a quaint little riverside hike with the chance to see some waterfalls and maybe (definitely) even take a little dip in a swimming hole. We will do some explorin for a little while and then find a nice clearing, glade, or grotto in which to rest our weary bones and soak in the sun and the heat. There may be some stream crossings along the way so be prepared to get your toes a little wet.
We will leave at 10:30 on Sunday. Walk around and splash around until we have convinced our hearts and minds that Spring is near, which it isn’t. And then cruise on back to Grounds with smiles on our faces.
Wacha Need:
Hammock, Blanket, or Backside for chillin
Clothing that can get a lil wet
Towel
Picnic Hors d’oeuvre (optional)
An unsuppresable zest to be outside (not optional)
